My guest today is Jen Mann, author of the New York Times bestseller People I Want to Punch in the Throat and editor of the New York Times bestselling I Just Want to Pee Alone series.

In an attempt to deal with the resulting range of emotions and physical changes in midlife, Jen posted a completely honest now-viral post, “Anyone Else Falling Apart Or Is It Just Me?” Jen used the thousands of responses she got, along with many of her own experiences to write her new book MIDLIFE BITES. A cross between a humor collection and a self-help guide, women ages 40-60 everywhere can explore subjects that may have been taboo in the past. As Jen likes to say, this is NOT your mother’s midlife crisis book, where things get swept under the rug and “nice women” don’t talk about those kinds of things.

Here’s my conversation with Jen Mann.

[INTERVIEW, NO TRANSCRIPT]

I highly recommend Jen’s book, Midlife Bites. There’s a link to buy her book in the shownotes and I can’t wait to hear what you think. Pop into the private facebook group Muddling Through The Midlife or shoot me an email at kimberly@themidlife.co
